Autumn 2025 Stats. Update

Although these days our club's online presence extends even so far as its own Instagram site, back in the day (and I'm talking 20+ years ago), it looked all a bit different. Well, there's exciting news for Mandarins of a certain age and new data has emerged from two CDs found "behind someone’s sofa". Andy Heard has managed to extract them and I, Chris B, find they include full averages for the 2002 and 2004 seasons - records not previously available (2003 was).

I have been reconciling this complete record for the seasons in question with the partial records I already had from other sources. The results will be reflected in a fully revised and updated career digest, to be shared soon. In the meantime a few highlights.

  • Andy Heard and Andy McKeon make it to 300 career appearances, Barrie Temple and Jon Porter to 200.
  • Barrie Temple gets to 5,000 career runs and 29 x 50s. Chris Healy gets to 150 fielding victims.
  • Rob Eastaway gets to 700 career wickets, Martin Hurst to 400, Chris Healey to 300.

Altogether around 1,600 runs and 150 wickets have been added to career records - further details available on request!
